Introduction to the College
Vision, Mission, and Objectives
Introduction
The Graduate Studies and Scientific Research College at Dilling University was established in August 2001 by a decision of the Academic Council, with its headquarters in Dilling city. The college’s establishment was formally approved during the University Council’s session in April 2002. Professor Dr. Mohamed Geili Abdel-Razek was appointed as the first Dean of the college, succeeded by the following:

To become a beacon of knowledge, fostering comprehensive development to keep pace with scientific advancements, leading in scientific research, preparing national leadership and human resources, and enhancing academic capacities to serve society. The college aims to provide a motivating and productive academic environment, striving for global recognition and classification.

The college seeks to optimally utilize the university’s resources to achieve its mission, which includes:

Objectives
The College of Graduate Studies at Dilling University, grounded in the university’s laws, bylaws, and the regulations of its colleges and administrative units, aims to:
- Oversee graduate studies programs within the university and coordinate among various graduate committees to ensure smooth academic processes.
- Supervise all scientific research projects within the university, ensuring their implementation and management.
- Award postgraduate degrees (Higher Diploma, Master’s, and Doctorate).
- Graduate qualified and well-trained professionals with high-quality education in various scientific and academic disciplines to contribute to solving local societal issues and driving development.
- Advance graduate studies and scientific research in both study and application.
- Implement the nation’s scientific and research strategies through researchers’ studies and projects.
- Train young researchers to pursue their academic and research careers to achieve advanced degrees and serve their country.
