I am delighted to welcome you to the Teachers’ College at Dilling University. The student is the core of the educational process, and preparing them to face life’s challenges in the present and the future is the primary goal the college strives to achieve.
In conclusion, we pray to Allah to protect our nation and people.
Introduction
The Teachers’ College was established in 1994 to take on the role previously performed by the Teacher Preparation Institute in education, cultural dissemination, and community service. The college works to graduate and prepare teachers for basic education, preschool education, youth education, and adult education.

To achieve excellence in education, scientific research, and community engagement at both the local and regional levels.

To empower educators to build a better future for the region.

College Departments
The college offers a Bachelor’s degree (Honors) in Education for Basic Education in four years and postgraduate diplomas and master's degrees.
English Language and Geography Department
This department focuses on the English language as the language of the global information network, enabling students to understand a broader segment of the world. English becomes the essential tool for communication.
Science and Mathematics Department
This department serves as an introduction to core specializations in sciences and mathematical sciences, including pure mathematics, statistics, and applied mathematics. It emphasizes topics relevant to basic education.
Arabic Language and Religious Studies Department
Aims to enhance students’ linguistic performance, enabling them to produce error-free expressions in grammar, morphology, and style.
Arabic Language and History Department
Provides students with extensive knowledge of their national and regional history, focusing on the unique characteristics and traits of the Sudanese people.
Preschool Education Department
This department offers a Bachelor’s degree (Honors) in Preschool Education over five years.
Social Sciences Department
Focused on acquiring solid knowledge and continuously reevaluating human affairs based on new discoveries in the field of knowledge.
Educational Activities Department
This unique department works on instilling values and concepts of peace and development.
Adult Education Department
This department plans to implement an adult education diploma program and establish a center for adult education and literacy.
Educational and Psychological Sciences Department
Focuses on the psychological and physical development of students through its courses.
